Subject: How to set default table margin for lotus notes mail signature

I am trying to setup a rich text email signature in Notes 8.5.3 and I did so using tables to line up different sections. It looks good except that when the signature gets added to an email the default table margin (aka distance from edge of email to table) is 1.16" and rest of the email is set to 1.0" which makes the signature offset. I have tried setting table margin in the signature itself, but it doesn't have any effect. Any idea how to setup default table margin for a notes signature?
